BMW M teases new G87 M2

The launch of BMW's last non-electrified M car is getting closer.

The M division of the Bavarian brand posted a short teaser video on Instagram

Ahead of the October performance of the 2023 BMW M2.

It also confirmed that the new M2 would be available with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed M Steptronic torque-converter automatic transmission.
The standard M2 will have more power than the outgoing M2 competition, generating power of 302kW and a torque of 550Nm.
The BMW M2 will feature an adaptive M chassis and a "powerful brake system" taken directly from the M3 and M4.

Alternative equipment confirmed by BMW, in addition to attractive spy M display parts, includes carbon roofing and M carbon bucket seats.
BMW is currently completing 50 years of its M division, which includes new high-performance models, including the new M2.
